Linda was introduced to the stage at the early age of 10, with her father's band "Frankie Carr and the Novelites" at "Whiskey Pete's" in Jackpot Nevada. It was the $5.00 tip and being asked for her "Autograph" that helped make the decision to continue singing as an adult, and solidified her love of the stage! Her father, "Chuck Leonard", was one of 3 frontmen for the band that was regularly billed as "The best comedy team in the country" during the late 50's and 60's. The group had many amazing accomplishments including being on the "Ed Sullivan Show" 11 times!
Linda has been performing in Las Vegas and the surrounding areas for several decades, and has been on virtually every major stage in Las Vegas.
Linda is also an experienced "Marilyn Monroe" impersonator and has had the opportunity to perform at countless functions around Las Vegas and in the San Diego area.
She is also an accomplished studio artist, and has been called on by various major entertainers for her outstanding harmonies. Some of her work includes background vocals for Lisa Scinta on a CD produced by David White,an original member of "Danny and the Juniors," responsible for such hits as At The Hop, and You Don't Own Me, As well as Susan Bella who has written chart topping songs for Englebert Humperdink. Also, Eddie Fluellyn, one of the original members of "Flash," featuring the De Barge brothers.
She has accomplished several modeling projects as well as commercials for such casinos as Mandalay Bay and Harrah's. She has also been a lead character in the interactive dinner show, "A Wacky Wake." She has appeared on several radio shows including KOMP and K-News on "The Tony Sacca Show," as well as the ever popular, "Dennis Bono" show several times. She has also been a Hostess for "The Fame Game" which is a live game show that combines comedy and games with music and is often used by major hotels for slot tournaments as the medium for giving away major prizes. She is also an experienced DJ/Emcee, and has opened for such groups as KC and The Sunshine Band poolside at the Venetian Hotel.
Linda has had the privilege of sharing her gift with local assisted care facilities, and has had the pleasure of doing many benefit functions such as a "father's day show" for the Veterans in Boulder City several years in a row. She performed as "Marilyn Monroe" for a benefit at the Orleans Showroom for a veteran of the "Las Vegas" Lounges, Norman Kaye of "The Mary Kaye Trio."
She has also been on the board of directors as the "Spiritual Ambassador" for "The Jason Foundation," an International organization geared toward the prevention of youth suicide.
Linda has been called on repeatedly for years to sing the "National Anthem" for such events as the "NBA Summer League", the "West Coast Conference", "Opening Day of Little League", many boxing matches at Arizona Charlie's, and several other community events. In her spare time, she can be seen volunteering on her Church Vocal team at Valley Vegas Church.
